Plenty of performers list Manchester because it is a big market. James grew up in Marple on the edge of the city and performed his first paid shows at the Midland in Marple Bridge at the age of 14. He lives in Cheshire now, a short drive from the city centre, which means no travel costs and no risk of a performer stuck on a motorway while your guests are waiting.

James has performed at hotels and venues across the city including Cloud 23, Hotel Gotham, The Midland, The Place Hotel and Hilton Manchester, at Rosso in the city centre, and at large-scale events at EventCity.

He has been the Manchester United Christmas entertainer three years running, performing for players and staff, and has also entertained at Manchester City events. Across the river in Stockport, he is a regular at The Hat Works.

For weddings, close-up magic during the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast. For corporate events, table magic through a gala dinner or a stage mentalism set after the meal. For parties and celebrations, a mix of both, with a full stage hypnosis show as an option for adult audiences.
