Where James Anthony Performs
James is Marple-born and Cheshire-based, which makes Manchester and Cheshire genuinely local. Everywhere else is travelled to, and quoted honestly.
Local where it counts, honest about the rest
A lot of entertainers claim to be local to every town they will drive to. We would rather tell you the truth. James grew up in Marple on the edge of Greater Manchester and lives in Cheshire today, so events in those two areas carry no travel cost and no risk of a performer caught out by the traffic.
Beyond that, James travels constantly and has done for twenty years, at sea and on land. If your event is further afield, travel is included in the quote up front so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Main areas
The three areas James works most
Everywhere else
The rest of the UK and beyond
Greater Manchester
Manchester city centre, Stockport, Salford, Altrincham, Bolton, Bury and Prestwich. James is a regular at The Hat Works in Stockport and at The Hilton Suite in Prestwich for bar and bat mitzvahs.
Cheshire
Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Chester, Macclesfield and the surrounding villages. This is where James lives, so it is as local as it gets.
Lancashire and the North West
Liverpool, Preston, Lancaster, Blackpool and the Lake District. Close enough to be straightforward, and travel is quoted up front rather than hidden.
Yorkshire and the North East
Leeds, Sheffield, York, Harrogate and Newcastle. James has performed and spoken across the region, including a speech with hypnosis at Doncaster Racecourse.
The Midlands
Birmingham, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and the surrounding counties, comfortably reachable for an evening event.
London and the South
James performs in London regularly and charges London rates rather than adding travel, so booking a performer from outside the capital costs you nothing extra.
Scotland, Wales and Ireland
Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cardiff and Dublin for corporate events and weddings, usually as part of an overnight booking.
Europe and further afield
James has performed across Europe and worked internationally for years at sea, including on Royal Caribbean, Princess, P&O and Seabourn ships. Destination weddings and overseas corporate events are quoted with travel included.
