James Anthony started out as a professional close up magician and entertainer, having started off performing for 7 years at a local restaurant in Manchester. Since then this has been the basis to his close up magic career, and has since performed specialist corporate events for many large companies including: Xerox, British Airways, The Mall, P&O Cruises, O2 Mobile, 3Mobile, and Many more.With the magic of James Anthony you can be guaranteed a mystifying and magical atmosphere wherever he performs.

James Anthony has been performing magic professionally for over 12 years, and before he began magic, he was trained professionally with coach Joan Slater (Mother of Nicky Slater), as an ice-skater, and has competed in many championships throughout the country. After skating for 15yrs and winning the British Solo Junior championships in 97, regretably he has stopped training due to injury, and has decided to concentrate purely on the performance of his magic.

You can see the influence of ice-dance, and the endless ballroom and latin-american dance lessons within the choreography of the act, making it completely unique from the crowd.
